A multi-discipline artist, I am a gatherer, seeker, recycler and poet with eyes ever to the ground, … the sky, … the periphery, …
Sometimes my work is about color. Always, it’s about texture. Curiosity is ever my companion. Synchronicity is always at play in my process.
No matter the medium of the moment, I consider myself a collage artist. As Donald B. Kuspit put it, “Collage makes poetry with the prosaic fragments of dailiness.” In the most ordinary elements of my life, I find inspiration and material for my work. Each piece is, for me, a poem.
Works include: original art quilts, Tangible Chantings & Prayer Flags, Blessings & Reminders, “Right-In-My-Own-Backyard” greeting cards featuring original photography, bedspring & fiber arts, masks, assemblage, mixed-media, paintings, and whatever the next moment brings forth.
